Job summary

Alternative Heat Ltd in Vaasa, Finland is seeking a Project Manager to lead delivery of Europe-wide projects. You will oversee site mobilisation, manage site teams, supervisors and subcontractors, and ensure work is safe, on programme and to a high standard.

You will maintain regular progress updates, forecasts and reports for clients and stakeholders, control costs, manage variations and risks, coordinate planning and close-out documentation, including manuals and as-built drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex projects from mobilisation to handover.
• Strong stakeholder management across multiple departments and clients.
• Contractor coordination with subcontractors and suppliers.

What You’ll be Doing

The role involves leading project delivery from site mobilisation through to completion, managing site teams, supervisors and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard. It requires strong client and stakeholder management, including providing regular progress updates, forecasts and reports. The role also oversees commercial and contractual control by monitoring labour and material costs, appointing subcontractors, and managing variations, risks and delays. In addition, it involves coordinating project planning and reporting, chairing weekly meetings, maintaining project documentation and programmes, and ensuring quality, health and safety standards are consistently met. The position is also responsible for effective project close-out, including O&M manuals, as-built drawings and certification.
