Your role with Aalto EE

We are looking for a project manager to join a growing team dedicated to developing and managing training programs, online courses and exam products. The overall program portfolio of the team includes e.g on-demand online courses, exam products, live-online programs, publications, as well as open and customized training programs in hybrid and onsite format.

As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in designing, planning, coordinating and executing training programs, products and exams especially for the financial services sector, including banking and finance, investment and insurance. You will work closely with current and potential clients, participants, project team members, marketing and media production teams. Additionally, you will collaborate with different stakeholders in both academia and business.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and coordinating multiple learning products, for instance exam products, online courses and training programs, including planning, practical project agreements, stakeholder communication and reporting
  • Designing course concepts and developing learning solutions for digital environments
  • Supporting the commercialization of training programs and exams, and contributing to sales and marketing materials
  • Engaging with key stakeholders, including current and potential clients and experts from the corporate and university sectors
  • Supporting clients with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Maintaining and updating product information in the CRM system
  • Ensuring efficient implementation and academic quality of training products

What makes you a great fit?

You thrive in a learning-focused and continuously developing environment, managing multiple projects while collaborating with diverse stakeholders and clients. You have solid project management skills, a hands-on approach, and a proactive mindset. Our team values adaptability, curiosity, and a can-do attitude – so we're looking for someone eager to explore new topics, e.g. banking, finance and insurance subjects, and confidently engage with current and potential clients and experts. While you take ownership of your projects, you won’t be working alone; teamwork and collaboration are central to how we operate, and we support each other to drive projects forward.

Our ideal candidate has a strong commercial mindset, understands continuous learning and workforce development needs, and recognizes what kind of training solutions organizations are willing to invest in. You actively support and contribute to sales and marketing by providing relevant product insights and a deep understanding of target audiences, meeting clients and ensuring our training programs align with market demand and learner expectations.

What we expect from you:

  • Relevant higher education degree
  • Experience in project management, including handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational, teamwork and time management skills, combined with a business-oriented mindset
  • Confidence in working with both corporate and academic stakeholders across various industries
  • Ability and curiosity to quickly learn new topics, including banking and finance, insurance, investment, accounting, risk management and/or compliance subjects
  • Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English; Swedish is an advantage

Additional valuable skills:

  • Experience working in international or multicultural environments
  • Experience working in the financial services sector is seen as an advantage
  • Understanding of digital learning environments and scalable learning solutions

What Aalto EE offers you:

  • Diverse and meaningful responsibilities in a company owned by Aalto University
  • Comprehensive introduction to the new role and supportive team environment - we do not expect you to master everything, but your enthusiastic attitude and desire to develop into an expert in project management and education are crucial
  • An inspiring work environment and colleagues who passionately approach their work, supporting your success in your role and enjoying free time together
  • A flexible hybrid working model and working hours, along with a fixed monthly depending on your background and experience
  • Culture and exercise benefits, lunch benefit, and extended occupational health care
