Job summary

Google is seeking a Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs for its global Data Center team. You will plan requirements, schedules, risks, and communications across cross-functional partners, spanning offices and time zones.

You will coordinate stakeholders, define governance, and drive outcomes from initiation to delivery while upholding Google's operational standards and security policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program management.
• Experience with inventory management, spare parts planning, warehousing, or logistics within data centers, critical infrastructure, or tech operations.
• Experience analyzing operational metrics (KPIs/SLAs) and using enterprise tools (e.g., SAP/Maximo/ERP) to resolve bottlenecks.
• Knowledge of data center hardware components and critical facility infrastructure.

• Author comprehensive program charters and create detailed project plans for advanced programs.
• Determine program phasing and key metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Establish program governance with data collection methods and trackers; lead team meetings.
• Execute tasks by managing dependencies, mitigating risks, and aligning with core product values.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program management.
• Experience working with inventory management, spare parts planning, warehousing, or logistics processes within data center, critical infrastructure, or technology operational environments.
• Experience analyzing operational metrics (KPIs/SLAs) and working with enterprise inventory or asset management tools (e.g., SAP, Maximo, or ERP systems) to resolve operational bottlenecks.
• Experience with data center hardware components, critical facility infrastructure (e.g., electrical and mechanical equipment), or server/network hardware spare parts life-cycles.

Preferred qualifications

• Certifications in program management, supply chain, or process improvement (e.g., PMP, APICS/CSCP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt).
• Understanding of supply chain planning, vendor management, lead time optimization, or reverse logistics (RMA processes) in a global operational setting.
