Job summary

Prysmian’s Pikkala factory in Finland is seeking production workers for the armor line to join a skilled team on a fixed-term contract.

You will work in a continuous 3-shift pattern, ensure safety and cleanliness of your workstation, monitor quality, report deviations, operate a winding machine, and record production data in the ERP system. Forklift use may follow with experience.

The role offers comprehensive orientation and the chance to develop your expertise in an international company.

Qualifications

• Primarily a good attitude, responsible work approach and willingness to learn.
• The job is physical; good general health helps you succeed.
• Fluency in Finnish, teamwork and willingness to commute by car are required.

At Prysmian’s Pikkala factory we manufacture submarine cables used all over the world. We are now looking for production workers for the armor line to join a skilled team. Prysmian is a world-leading Cable company with over a century of experience. On the Pikkala factory line you will participate in making products that play a significant role in energy and communications infrastructure.

What does the job involve?

• You will work on the armor line in supportive production tasks.
• You will take responsibility for the safety and cleanliness of your workstation, monitor quality, report deviations, operate a winding machine and record production data in the ERP system.
• As you gain experience you may also get to use a forklift on the production line.

What do we offer?

• A fixed-term employment until the end of November 2026 with possibility for longer-term continuation.
• Work is carried out in a continuous 3-shift pattern: two morning shifts, two evening shifts, two night shifts and four days off.
• Pay is according to the Technology Industry TES with shift premiums.
