We are now looking for a Production Manager to join our team in Lappeenranta. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence across production and testing functions. You will lead the Lappeenranta operations team, optimize workflows, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and plan personnel and project resources for the Lappeenranta operations team
  • Execute strategic operational plans aligned with company goals
  • Optimize production workflows and resource allocation to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards and act as OHS Manager
  • Lead safety governance committees and manage operational risks
  • Monitor KPIs, analyse performance metrics, and implement corrective actions
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, cost, and people development
  • Coordinate internal issue resolution and development initiatives
  • Act as the contact person for facility-related topics, including maintenance and ad-hoc issues
Reporting

As the Production Manager, you will report to our Director of Global Operations, Tomi Pinomäki.

Requirements
  • Relevant higher (e.g., bachelor’s or master’s) degree in industrial engineering, business, or a related field
  • Over 5 years of experience in operations leadership or in a similar role
  • Understanding of production and logistics processes

You ideally have expertise in materials management and the manufacturing technologies of electromechanical machinery. We also value strong knowledge and control of industrial production, as well as ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 compliance and safety initiatives.

A proactive mindset, strategic thinking, and ability to lead cross-functional teams are key to success in this role. Strong communication skills in Finnish and English are essential, as well as willingness to travel globally a few times a year. Experience with lean manufacturing and/or World Class Manufacturing is seen as an advantage.
