We are now looking for a Procurement Manager for a permanent employment contract.
As a Procurement Manager, your duties include tenders for designated categories, monitoring the supplier field, and contract negotiations. You will work closely with businesses, maintain guidelines, and develop procurement processes. Additionally, you will guide and coordinate designated procurement projects, be responsible for scheduling, drafting request-for-proposal documents, and making procurement contracts. You will also act as a contact person between Finavia's units and suppliers in projects.
You will succeed in the position if you are consistent, solution-oriented, active, and efficient in your working methods. Achieving goals and striving for them is motivating for you. You are service-minded, and your strengths are great cooperation skills and organizational ability in urgent and demanding situations. You have a suitable university degree for the position and versatile work experience supporting the role. You need excellent negotiation and interaction skills in both Finnish and English. You are a customer-oriented team player who takes responsibility, boldly develops new things, and appreciates both your own and others' work. You communicate openly, cooperate across borders, and promote a good atmosphere and the Finavia way of operating through your actions.
A basic security clearance and drug testing will be performed for the person selected for the position.
