Job summary

Attendo Solju in Hammaslahti is seeking a Practical Nurse for a permanent position in a 21-place residential unit. The nurse will implement medication therapy, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, support residents in daily life, and lead recreational and group activities for young adults in rehab.

The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive, development‑oriented attitude, capable of independent decisions, and able to provide professional support to the team.

Qualifications

• Vocational qualification as a Practical Nurse or studies nearing completion.
• Vaccination protection as per Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act.
• Hygiene passport or readiness to obtain one within three months of starting
• Medication permits or readiness to obtain them at the start of employment.

Responsibilities

• Implement medication therapy as part of daily care.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in a multidisciplinary team.
• Guide and support residents in daily living activities.
• Lead recreational and group activities for residents.

The role involves implementing medication therapy, collaborating with various stakeholders, guiding and supporting residents in their daily lives, and leading recreational and group activities within a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate is a team player who values diversity, has a positive and development-oriented attitude, can make independent decisions, and provides professional support to the team. The position is a three-shift role.
