Job description
The Many-Body Theory group is looking for a postdoctoral researcher to work on the computational study of quantum nuclear effects in solids. The project is well-funded as part of the Theory Program of the Helsinki Institute of Physics.

Requirements
Candidates must hold an internationally recognized PhD degree in physics, mathematics, or chemistry research, ideally in the field of computational condensed matter physics. Good written and spoken English skills are essential. Knowledge of the programming language Python is mandatory.

The Postdoctoral position will be offered from one to two years with a possibility of extension. A trial period of six months applies to all our new employees. The salary will be based on both the job requirements and the employee’s personal performance.
