Job summary

The Finnish Museum of Natural History LUOMUS at the University of Helsinki invites applications for a fixed-term Postdoctoral Researcher position in IsoMuseomics (Stable Isotopes) based at LUOMUS, Helsinki, Finland. The preferred starting date is ideally from January 2027.

Responsibilities include collecting time-series data, establishing historical climate datasets, analysing stable isotope data, interpreting isotope patterns in ecological contexts, and contributing to manuscript writing.

Salary, contract and workload

Starting gross monthly salary of ca. €3400–€3800/month (Level 5 in the Finnish university salary system) with a six-month trial period and a 1612-hour annual workload.

Location and working conditions

The applicant should reside in Finland during employment.
