Job summary

University of Turku invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher position within the Turku Research Institute for Learning Analytics (TRILA). The fixed-term appointment begins 1 January 2027 (or upon mutual agreement) and lasts up to 12 months.

The project focuses on teachers' motivation, wellbeing and digital environments in learning analytics. The successful candidate will conduct research and publish findings, with possible involvement in project coordination and supervision.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology, Education, Cognitive Science, Learning Analytics, Linguistics, Social Sciences, Computer Science / Information Technology, Mathematics and Statistics or related field.
• Experience with multilevel modelling and using SPSS or Mplus is an advantage.
• Experience in educational psychology and digital learning environments is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and publish findings.
• Possibly coordinate project activities.
• Supervise junior researchers where required.
