Job summary

Stora Enso Anjalankoski Oy, part of Stora Enso’s Cartonboard business, seeks a Development Engineer for a long‑term position to develop post‑processing functions at our paper plant.

The role focuses on systematically improving safety, quality, delivery reliability and production efficiency in collaboration with the operating manager, and on ideating and leading new development projects for the post‑processing department.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering (Bachelor or Master) or equivalent.
• Understanding of maintenance systems such as automation.
• Ability to develop processes using performance indicators.
• Experience with Lean thinking and continuous improvement.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder communication.
• Proficiency in Finnish and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop safety, quality, delivery reliability and production efficiency of post‑processing with the operating manager.
• Ideate, design, and lead new development projects for the post‑processing department.
