Qualifications

• Familiar with dense-phase and dilute-phase pneumatic conveying principles.
• Able to read complex P&ID diagrams and pipeline isometric drawings.
• Capable of on-site safety supervision for height work and confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site installation guidance for pneumatic conveying equipment (rotary feeders, bin pumps, pipelines, valves).
• Perform seal testing of compressed air and conveying pipelines; inspect bracket installations.
• Guide local labor in assembly and positioning of wear-resistant elbows and diverter valves.
• Conduct low- and medium-pressure purging tests to ensure clean, leak-free pipelines.
• Collaborate with Commissioning Manager on on-site calibration of wind speed, wind pressure, and feeding volume.
• Document deviations during installation and report to technical department for correction.

We are looking for a Pneumatic Conveying System Installation and Commissioning Engineer to work for a 1 year project in Kotka starting from 8.10.2026 and ending on 7.10.2027

1. Responsible for providing on-site installation guidance for pneumatic conveying equipment (including rotary feeders, bin pumps, pipelines, valves, etc.) at the project site.

2. Responsible for seal testing of compressed air pipeline systems and conveying pipelines, as well as inspection of bracket installations.

3. Guide local labor in the assembly and positioning of key components such as wear-resistant elbows and diverter valves.

4. Conduct low-pressure and medium-pressure purging tests for the pneumatic conveying system to ensure pipelines are clean and leak-free.

5. Cooperate with the Commissioning Manager in on-site calibration of conveying wind speed, wind pressure, and feeding volume.

6. Document deviations during the installation process and provide immediate feedback to the technical department for correction

Requirements

1. Familiar with the principles of dense-phase/dilute-phase pneumatic conveying, capable of reading complex P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and pipeline isometric drawings.

2. Proficient in on-site acceptance standards for pipeline welding, flange connections, and pressure testing.

3. Capable of on-site safety supervision for height work and confined space operations.

4. 1-5 years of work experience
