Job summary

St1 Nordic Oy is seeking a Platform Engineering Lead to head the Cloud & Infrastructure team, owning cloud infrastructure, automation pipelines, and platform tooling. The role blends hands‑on coding with guiding a small team, emphasizing modern DevOps, security, and intelligent automation.

You will enable developers via self‑service platforms, drive CI/CD and FinOps, and mentor teammates through hard problems.

Qualifications

• Strong developer background with hands‑on infrastructure experience.
• Solid software development background and full delivery lifecycle understanding.
• Hands‑on cloud experience (GCP and/or Azure) with cloud‑native architecture.
• Proficiency in infrastructure‑as‑code with Terraform as default.

A core part of the mission is building cloud infrastructure services that developers can consume as self‑service, reducing friction, accelerating delivery, and giving teams what they need without platform involvement at every step.
