Our expertise in Commerce platforms is in huge demand, and we're thus looking for a skilled Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team!

What is the job like, really?

Responsibilities

As a key player in our expanding IT infrastructure, you'll manage and optimize these crucial systems. This role offers a prime opportunity to showcase your deep technical skills, ensuring our systems are not only robust and secure but also operating at peak efficiency. Here's a snapshot of your key responsibilities:

SAP Basis Administration: Manage and maintain our commerce platforms, including tasks such as installation, configuration, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure system efficiency and reliability.

System Upgrades and Migrations: Take charge of planning and executing system upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensuring our platforms stay up to date, stable, and compliant with industry standards.

Security and Authorization: Implement and oversee robust security measures. Manage user access controls and authorization policies to safeguard our systems against threats.

Performance Optimization: Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks. Your role is crucial in maintaining optimal system performance for end users, ensuring a seamless experience.

Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for our landscapes. Your foresight and planning will minimize business impact in the event of system failures.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, developers, and infrastructure teams, to ensure seamless integration and effectiveness of solutions.

What are we looking for?

We don’t expect you to be a unicorn, but the more you know about the following, the better:

Proven experience as a platform engineer with 2+ years of experience on SAP Commerce Cloud.

Experience with other commerce platforms like Adobe, Spryker, or commercetools is also valued.

In-depth knowledge of architecture, system administration, and best practices.

Knowledge of Kubernetes and experience with containerized environments.

Familiarity with the Azure Cloud Platform.

Knowledge of SAP Kyma.

Soft Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Innovative problem-solving skills, with a flair for analyzing complex technical issues.
