Plant Director – TNT production site (Pori), FORCIT Group

We are now looking for an experienced and hands-on Plant Directorto lead the start-up and operations of our new TNT production site in Pori. Your mission is to establish the organization, processes, and ways of working that ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. Production is planned to start in 2028.

As Plant Director, you will have overall responsibility for the site and its performance – including people, safety, quality, delivery, and cost. In the initial phase, your focus will be on building the operational readiness: onboarding and developing the team, implementing processes, and creating a strong culture. Once production is running (approx. 60–70 employees), you will lead daily operations and drive continuous improvement.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Establishing the production site organization and securing operational readiness
• Leading, motivating, and developing the factory team
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Managing production operations, resources, and budgets
• Driving efficiency, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and performance
• Represent FORCIT locally in communication and stakeholder relationships

We believe you have:

• A proven track record of successfully leading people and operations through investment projects, commissioning, or factory start-ups
• Solid leadership experience in production or manufacturing
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• A hands-on, proactive leadership style
• Relevant technical education
