Job summary

University of Turku in Turku, Finland invites applications for a 3-year full-time Doctoral Researcher position under the MSCA-Doctoral Networks programme. The project focuses on ischemic heart disease impact on multiorgan perfusion using LAFOV PET/CT, including secondments to Copenhagen, Edinburgh and Siemens Healthineers.

The successful candidate will pursue doctoral research, with training across disciplines and international partners, supported by generous MSCA funding and a flexible work

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Medicine or Health Biosciences (MSc or equivalent).
• Excellent command of English; Finnish skills beneficial.
• Willingness to travel and collaborate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on LAFOV PET/CT clinical research.
• Develop and evaluate methods for automated LAFOV perfusion analysis.
• Collaborate with international partners during secondments.
