Job summary

Tampere University invites applications for a two-year fixed-term Doctoral Researcher position in Industrial Sales, with the intention to extend the contract. The doctoral research will intersect industrial sales, environmental sustainability, and digitalization, supervised by Associate Professor Pia Hautamäki and Professor Leena Aarikka-Stenroos.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent qualification eligible for doctoral studies.
• Backgrounds may include industrial engineering and management, business administration, marketing, sales, strategy, sustainability, information systems.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Experience with qualitative research methods is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality research and publish in international peer‑reviewed journals and conferences.
• Complete the doctoral degree, including required doctoral studies.
• Contribute to teaching, research project planning, and undergraduate supervision for up to 10% of total working time.
• Collaborate with supervisors and Finnish companies and other stakeholders.
