Job summary

Orion Corporation's Fermion unit in Oulu is seeking a proactive Project Engineer to support investment projects and technical changes on-site. You will collaborate with Project Managers, prepare technical deliverables, assist with equipment procurement and commissioning, and contribute to continuous facility improvements at the Oulu site.

The role requires a relevant engineering degree (BSc/MSc), experience with industrial equipment or projects, and fluency in Finnish and English.

Qualifications

Relevant technical degree in Mechanical, Process, or Chemical Engineering.
Experience with industrial equipment, manufacturing environments, or engineering projects.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&ID diagrams and engineering documentation.
Good project management, communication and organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update engineering documentation, including qualification documents, procedures, equipment documentation, factory drawings and P&ID diagrams in accordance with GMP and company requirements.
Assist in the coordination of day-to-day project activities and follow-up actions.
Prepare feasibility studies, preliminary engineering designs, technical calculations and technical documentation.
Coordinate designated equipment packages and technical tasks from procurement through installation, commissioning and handover to production.
Contribute to the continuous development of Fermion's manufacturing facilities and engineering practices.
