About the role

Avolta Finland is seeking a dynamic and experienced People, Culture and Organisation Manager to oversee and develop our HR functions in Finland. This role involves managing labour relations, recruitment, personnel administration, occupational health and safety, compensation and benefits, and learning and development. The successful candidate will ensure alignment with the strategic plan and Group PCO policies.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate the country PCO team, fostering a high level of commitment and engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and collective agreements.
  • Manage all aspects of the employment life cycle—staffing, recruitment, and selection.
  • Support training and development initiatives to ensure employees are skilled and competent.
  • Oversee occupational health and safety, ensuring a good work-life balance and managing sick leaves.
  • Handle contract terminations and exit processes, ensuring legal compliance and fair treatment.
  • Manage negotiations with employee representatives to maintain positive labour relations.
  • Implement HR strategies and support the Nordic HR director and other managers in achieving business targets.
  • Focus on operational and tactical tasks, with strategic direction provided by global, regional, and Nordic level.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in HR management 5-7 years, preferably in a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR Management related area
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices, with a focus on collective agreements.
  • Experience in the hospitality and commercial sectors is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English are mandatory, Swedish skills are beneficial
