Job summary

Fazer Confectionery seeks an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead future packaging technology integrations for the FC2030 Lahti factory project in Finland. You will coordinate packaging machinery engineering, automation and project resources across the design, construction and commissioning phases.

Based in Vantaa with onsite work in Vaarala and occasional duties in Lahti, you will liaise with machine suppliers and system integrators, drive readiness and deliverables on schedule, and

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in technical investment project management, packaging machinery engineering, automation or manufacturing engineering.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (mechanical, automation, industrial or equivalent).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English and Finnish; Swedish/German considered a plus.
• Willingness to travel within Finland and occasionally abroad.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, engineering and implementation of future packaging machinery technologies for the FC2030 Lahti factory project.
• Act as key contact for machine suppliers and system integrators to define and implement packaging equipment solutions.
• Coordinate technology, engineering and project resources to integrate new packaging lines into the future factory.
• Drive machine performance, reliability, and commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track FC2030 deliverables to ensure packaging technology readiness on schedule.
• Plan and execute packaging area ramp-up as part of the FC2030 ramp-up team.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance and other functions to ensure successful implementation of packaging technologies.
