Job summary

Savox Communications is seeking an experienced operational buyer to ensure timely delivery of materials to our Jyväskylä factory. You will place and manage orders in our ERP, coordinate with suppliers, and work closely with production, planning and R&D to support ongoing operations.

The role requires proactive planning, strong supplier communication, and fluency in Finnish with good written English. ERP experience (Epicor iScala) is useful, travel is limited.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing and materials management in manufacturing.
• Background in electronics or technical industry is valuable but not essential.
• Ability to plan ahead when component lead times are long.
• Proactive, organised and persistent, with supplier-facing communication.
• Fluent Finnish and good written English; spoken English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Place and manage purchase orders in our ERP system.
• Follow up on order confirmations and delivery schedules.
• Keep purchasing data up to date and address shortages or issues.
• Collaborate with production, planning, R&D, factory management and sourcing.
• Support purchasing for new product projects and supplier relationships.
