Wärtsilä Corporation in Vaasa, Finland, is seeking an On-Call Trainee to maintain internal sales applications (Product Configurators). The role allows up to 25 hours per week and is open to full-time students currently pursuing a degree in Finland.

You will work on developing and migrating code, keeping configuration data up to date, with opportunities to learn Git, SQL, C# and .NET in a collaborative team. Hybrid work possible.

We are looking for an On-Call Traineewith the main responsibility of maintaining internal sales applications. The preferred location for this position isVaasa, Finland but Helsinki, Finland is also negotiable. We offer the possibility of hybrid work.

In this role, y ou can work up to 25 hours per week. To be considered for this position, you need to be a full-time student currently pursuing a degree in Finland.

Your role and responsibilities

Your work will focus on these responsibilities:

• Help develop and maintain internal sales applications known as “Product Configurators”
• Assist in migrating an older codebase to new technologies
• Keep product configuration data up to update

To be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have:

• Ongoing studies in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Good skills in Git and SQL
• Basic understanding of C# and .NET
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Good teamwork skills
• A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn
