Our client ACTRIS is seeking for full-time and permanent position

Officer, operations (project manager) in the ACTRIS ERIC Operations Unit acts as the project manager of the European funded projects and proposals ACTRIS ERIC is coordinating. Officer leads the organization of the main ACTRIS events such as ACTRIS WEEK and ACTRIS Science Conference. Officer maps the project funding opportunities and participates to the development of engaging new countries and organizations to ACTRIS. Officer duties also include the work related to ethics, data protection and GDPR compliancy as well as the management ACTRIS ERIC website and intranet user and mailing lists. The Officer participates also to other OPU tasks.

Main tasks and responsibilities include:

• Management of the European funded proposals and projects

• Organization of ACTRIS main events (ACTRIS WEEK and Science Conference)

• Ethics work and facilitation of the ACTRIS ERIC Ethical Advisory Board

• Work related to data protection and GDPR compliancy

• Management of ACTRIS website and intranet user accounts and ACTRIS mailing lists

• Participation in the development of engaging new countries and organizations

• Support annual planning and reporting

Requirements:

• Master’s degree of atmospheric sciences or equivalent degree in a suitable field

• Experience of management of EC funded projects

• Experience in conference organization

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Proficient in written and verbal communication in English.

• Ability to work independently and good teamworking skills.

• Independent use of Microsoft Office 365.

• Ability to travel

Considered as an advantage:

• Experience on working in European Research Infrastructures

• PhD in atmospheric sciences or a relevant field
