Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking five experienced OFCI Package Managers to join a leading data centre construction organisation in Helsinki, Finland. You will own the management and delivery of OFCI packages, coordinating equipment, procurement and handover to meet project specifications.

Ideal candidates have experience in complex construction or mission-critical environments, with strong procurement and stakeholder-management skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in package management, construction management or project delivery within a complex construction environment.
• Experience managing OFCI packages, owner-supplied equipment or specialist contractor-installed systems is highly desirable.
• Experience working on data centre, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, industrial or other technically complex construction projects.
• Strong understanding of procurement, programme management, construction sequencing and subcontractor coordination.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Experience managing interfaces between multiple trades, contractors and equipment suppliers.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• A proactive approach to identifying risks, resolving issues and maintaining programme performance.
• Good understanding of construction health and safety, quality assurance and project compliance.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of assigned OFCI packages across large-scale data centre construction projects.
• Coordinate with the client, consultants, main contractor, specialist subcontractors and equipment vendors.
• Monitor package schedules, procurement milestones, manufacturing progress, delivery dates and site installation activities.
• Ensure owner-furnished equipment is delivered in line with project requirements and integrated effectively into the construction programme.
• Coordinate site readiness, logistics, storage, installation sequencing and interface management.
• Review technical documentation, drawings, specifications, method statements and inspection and test plans.
• Identify and resolve technical, programme and logistical issues that could affect package delivery.
• Monitor progress against agreed milestones and provide regular reporting on programme, risks, quality and costs.
• Ensure all works comply with project specifications, health and safety requirements and quality standards.
• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning interfaces and final handover documentation.
• Support the management of variations, technical queries, non-conformances and outstanding works.
• Maintain effective communication across all project stakeholders to ensure packages are delivered safely and efficiently.
