Varsinais-Suomen hyvinvointialue is seeking a nurse to work with mental health and substance use patients in Raisio. You will assess, plan, and deliver care, including independent reception duties, brief therapeutic interventions, and opioid maintenance treatment, with care plans created alongside a physician.

As a nurse, you will work with mental health and substance abuse patients, assessing their situation, planning and delivering care. Your duties include independent reception work, implementing brief therapeutic interventions, administering opioid maintenance treatment and other medications, and drafting care plans in collaboration with a physician. You will also conduct various substance use assessments and participate in the comprehensive patient care delivery. The job is a versatile mix of autonomous patient work, teamwork, and multidisciplinary collaboration across networks; some real-time remote consultations may be required. You will operate in a tight multidisciplinary team that includes practical nurses, nurses, psychologists, a occupational therapist, a psychiatrist, a substance-use experienced doctor, and an assistant head nurse. Your supervisor is the head nurse of the western region unit. The primary work location is Raisio at Nallinkatu 3. The work is day-shift, weekdays.

prior experience in mental health and substance use work and good Finnish language skills.
