Job summary

Citycon is seeking a talented M&A Analyst to join our growing team in Espoo. You will contribute to strategic transactions, build financial models, and support acquisitions and divestments across the Nordic portfolio. The role is permanent with a flexible start date, ideally January 2027, and on-site at Citycon’s HQ in Espoo.

You will perform financial analyses, prepare memorandums, and assist in due diligence. English communication is essential; Finnish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Real Estate Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in investments, transactions, valuation, corporate finance, or advisory within real estate.
• Strong financial analysis, valuation, and financial modelling skills.
• Understanding of real estate investment analysis, valuation methodologies, and transaction processes.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Finnish is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial, statistical, and scenario analyses for ongoing transaction and investment projects.
• Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and business cases to support strategic decision-making.
• Conduct company, market, industry, and asset-level research and analysis to evaluate business and investment opportunities.
• Prepare presentations, information materials, investment memorandums, and transaction documentation.
• Support transaction execution through financial analysis, due diligence activities, and preparation of transaction-related materials.
• Assist the M&A team in acquisitions, divestments, partnerships, and other strategic initiatives from evaluation through execution.
• Gather, analyse, and organise information from internal stakeholders, external advisors, and business partners throughout transaction processes.
• Contribute to corporate development projects, portfolio reviews, and other strategic initiatives across the organization.
