Job summary

ONNEC Group is seeking a Data Centre Technician to join our team in Helsinki. You will work under the guidance of a Site Manager and Project Manager to deliver high-quality data centre support activities and ensure compliance with standards.

Responsibilities include installing cabling, fibre terminations, Wi‑Fi systems, CCTV, and IP network upgrades, while managing moves, adds and changes within the data centre environment. Fluency in English and Finnish is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a data centre environment.
• Knowledge of structured cabling systems.
• Fluency in both English and Finnish (written and spoken).
• Attention to detail and accuracy; ability to perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Install structured cabling systems (fibre and copper).
• Perform fibre optic installation and termination.
• Install Wi-Fi systems.
• Conduct network cabling audits.
• Build data centre cages and pathways.
• Work with hot aisle/cold aisle containment (HACS/CACS).
• Install IP CCTV systems.
• Carry out patching and upgrades.
• Manage adds, moves, and changes within the data centre environment.
