Job summary

Caverion Suomi Oy in Lahti is seeking a fire protection technician for a permanent, on-site role in Päijät-Häme. The job covers maintenance, fault-finding and installations on fire alarm, smoke extraction and safety light systems, with autonomous work and coordination with other technicians.

You will work 40 hours per week, from 07:00 to 15:30, with potential certificates required at start. A driving license with own car access is needed, and Finnish fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Suitable vocational training and experience in electrical or electronics.
• Knowledge of smoke extraction and safety light systems.
• Prior experience with fire alarm installations.
• Strong IT skills.
• Fluent Finnish, both spoken and written.
• Driver's license (B) and access to own car.
• May require safety, hot-work and security-related certificates.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, fault-finding and installation work on fire alarm, smoke extraction and safety light systems.
• Work is autonomous but coordinated with other fire technicians when needed.
• Sites are in Päijät-Häme region, including industrial, property-management, and care facility buildings.
• The job is mobile and involves travel within the region; long trips are not required.
