Job summary

SSA Consulting Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a Europe-wide M&E contracting team, based in Finland. The role targets data centre and pharma projects with a competitive salary and living abroad benefits.

You will liaise with clients, conduct site surveys, review specifications, troubleshoot mechanical systems, and manage handovers, RFIs and test packs, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely project delivery across Europe.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering qualification required.
• 3-5 years on-site or mechanical systems experience.
• Strong software skills with BIM/AutoCAD/NavisWorks preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients, support project delivery, and assist with commissioning.
• Conduct site surveys, inspections, and review contract documents.
• Review specifications, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical issues.
• Provide technical support and maintain documentation, registers, and logs.
• Manage system handovers, technical submittals, RFIs, and test packs.
• Support commissioning, compliance, and close-out of defects and regulatory queries
