To support our development plans and the next strategic growth phase, we are searching for a motivated and professional to join our Finance team as Manager, Group accounting and reporting and to be part of the next development phase of the Halton Group and to support the development of its Finance function. This Group wide position will be an excellent opportunity for a systematic, enthusiastic and development minded person having already proven experience working in similar role(s) and enjoying working in a versatile international environment.

The Role

The Role Will Include Tasks Such As

• Managing the Group accounting and consolidation process of the Group with over 40 international legal entities in over 30 countries
• Managing the preparation of the Group’s annual financial statements and supporting Group audit
• Providing direction and support for global finance teams and individuals in the complex accounting matters to ensure coherent reporting across the Group
• Leading the Group’s monthly reporting and planning practices
• Working in selected global finance development projects in the fields of accounting, tax and administration
• Working in close collaboration with CFO, global finance teams and having also interaction with business stakeholders
• Bringing professional development insights for the Finance function development

Requirements

We are searching for a person who has

• Strong experience in the Group accounting, group reporting and their key processes
• Passion and practical experience in developing processes and ways of working for the internationally operating Group
• Interest in coaching the global finance team in complex accounting and reporting matters
• Ability to define future development areas as well as to lead development of processes
• At the minimum 5 years of working experience working for an internationally operating Group(s) with multiple group entities
• Knowledge of Finnish accounting standards and preferably also IFRS
• Preferably experience in working with the auditors or alternatively working as an auditor
• Quality mindset and can-do attitude to problem-solving
