Job summary

Wilderness Safaris Saariselkä Oy is seeking a proactive maintenance technician to keep the resort safe, operational and welcoming for guests and staff. You will perform daily maintenance tasks and inspections, respond to requests, and coordinate with contractors as needed.

The role requires hands-on skills, English fluency, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Accommodation options and health coverage are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance role.

Job description

We are seeking a proactive maintenance technician to ensure the resort remains safe, operational and welcoming for guests and staff. This hands-on role includes maintaining facilities to a high standard and responding efficiently to maintenance requests.

Responsibilities

daily maintenance tasks and regular inspections, responding to maintenance requests, maintaining records of repairs and inventory, coordinating with external contractors when necessary, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

Experience in a maintenance role, ability to use tools safely, valid B driver's license, fluent English (spoken and written), strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary

• Salary starts 23.11.2026 ends end of January 2027, 112.5 hours/3 weeks, about €18/hour, accommodation option €300/month in shared room, and collective agreement terms apply.
