Job summary

Valio Oy, a Finnish food company with international growth, invites applications for a Maintenance Area Supervisor at its Seinäjoki factory. The role is permanent and focuses on maintenance for the downstream area, especially the operation and reliability of packaging machines and lines.

You will mentor colleagues, monitor preventive maintenance, and support cross-functional projects with production and other departments.

Qualifications

• Education in electrical/automation or similar.
• Creative problem solving and proactive approach.
• Ability to identify improvement opportunities and develop processes.
• Understanding of food safety and safety at work; promote them in production processes.
• Finnish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain downstream packaging lines, monitor efficiency and reliability.
• Act as a specialist and mentor within the area.
• Monitor preventive maintenance and spare part availability.
• Troubleshoot and report for continuous improvement.
• Participate in project teams planning and implementing projects; cooperate with production and maintenance teams.
