Job summary

TD Bank is seeking a motivated intern for a 4-month work term in Markham, Ontario, Canada. The role focuses on supporting underwriting guidelines revisions and research related to impairments, with exposure to training material review for new underwriters.

Eligible candidates are currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree (3rd/4th year) in Accounting, Analytics, Data, biomedical sciences, health research, kinesiology, or pharmacy, and must plan to return to school after the term.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team and/or independently.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Assist with revision of internal underwriting guidelines.
• Assist with research related to medical and non-medical impairments.
• Review training material for new underwriters and make recommendations.
• Assist with review of tasks performed by underwriters and streamline processes.
