Overview

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the proposal preparation of the EU funded project called: EOM 2026 and is currently seeking qualified professionals to join the project team.

The overall objective of this assignment is to:

  • strengthen democratisation, good governance and conflict prevention;
  • contribute to reducing inter alia the possibility of fraud, manipulation, intimidation which could undermine the electoral processes;
  • improve the legal framework and conduct of future elections, as well as public confidence in the institutions;
  • inform the European institutions on the conduct of elections in selected third countries.

Duration: The intended start date is 1 January 2026 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 48 months from this date.

Key Expert: Legal/Human Rights Expert (Host Country)

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master's in law/political science/international relations or 5+ years experience in lieu.

General experience:

  • Cat. I: 10+ years / Cat. II: 5+ years in:
  • Elections/electoral assistance
  • Human rights, democratisation
  • Rule of law/civil society

Specific experience:

  • Election observation/assessment.
  • Electoral systems/administration/standards.
  • Familiarity with national election frameworks.
  • Understanding of election management bodies.
