Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Manager, Lean Development for EMEA & North America to drive Lean transformation across manufacturing plants and supplier operations. You will lead Kaizen initiatives and structured improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost, while building a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of Lean and Operational Excellence across plants and suppliers in EMEA and NA.
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance through Kaizen projects.
• Coach leaders and teams on Lean methodologies to build sustainable continuous improvement capabilities.
• Develop the capability of unit leaders to analyze performance and implement improvements using Lean tools.
• Partner with site leaders, operations teams, and suppliers to implement best practices and ensure long-term results.
