Job summary

SÄHKÖLANDIA OY in Finland is seeking a Lead Substation Installer to lead a local installation team on electrical substation construction and renovation projects, plan work phases and schedules, anticipate materials and equipment needs, and ensure safe, high-quality work.

You will guide a small team or pair, coordinate with project organization, train new installers, and travel across Finland to sites, including Seinäjoki to shape the new installer team and support local management.

Qualifications

• Experience in substation construction or related electrical installation projects.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Fluent Finnish and driving license.
• Willingness to travel across Finland.

Job description

The job includes guiding your own small team or pair, coordinating with project organization, and training new installers. You will work on substation installation tasks across various sites around Finland, with travel and possible overnight stays. You will help shape the new Seinäjoki installer team and support local management. Requirements include experience in substation construction or similar electrical installation projects, ability to work independently, read electrical drawings, anticipate material and equipment needs, ensure safety and quality, collaborate with others, and hold a B driver's license and fluent Finnish.
