Job summary

Ramboll invites applications for a Piping Engineer in our Solutions for Industry (S4I) team in Finland. The preferred location is Espoo, with Finland offices considered for the right candidate.

You will provide piping engineering expertise across feasibility, FEED, detailed design, construction, commissioning and handover, leading projects in a global, sustainable energy transition context and interfacing with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• B.Sc, M.Sc. or PhD in relevant engineering field.
• Working experience within the field of plant and piping engineering for at least 6 years.
• Basic competence in Piping design tools (e.g. for P&IDs, calculations)
• Previous experience in plant and piping design industry projects is seen as an advantage (Chemicals, gas transportation, green- and e-fuels, cement, steel, aluminium, pharmaceuticals, electricity production etc.).
• Business fluent in Finnish and English.
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop creative solutions in complex project environments
• Experience with budget management and resource planning and scheduling

Responsibilities

• Providing Piping Engineering expertise to multi-discipline industrial projects from feasibility studies, FEED, detailed design through to construction, commissioning, and handover
• Acting as senior/lead engineer on single discipline projects or sub-projects that are medium to large in size in both a local and international environment
• Working closely with the assigned Project Manager ensuring that quality and deadlines are met
• Designing efficient and technically sound engineering solutions and supporting technical sales activities
• Leading piping engineering within multidisciplinary project teams
• Serving as the primary customer interface for all piping engineering matters within projects
• Executing and coordinating piping engineering tasks, including piping and instrumentation diagrams, calculations, equipment specifications, and documentation preparation
