Job description

Seeking a Lead IoT Solution Development Engineer to drive research, design, and development of connected solutions for customer projects. This role involves defining technical architecture, guiding development teams, and implementing scalable, secure IoT technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full IoT solution lifecycle—from concept to deployment.
  • Design secure, scalable IoT architectures for real-world environments.
  • Conduct applied research to introduce new features and technologies.
  • Oversee hardware and firmware integration (sensors, controllers, actuators).
  • Promote best practices: CI/CD, security, automated testing.
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, and Operations teams.
  • Evaluate and integrate IoT platforms and analytics tools.
  • Document technical decisions and ensure knowledge transfer.
  • Provide strategic input for scaling solutions globally.

Technical Requirements

  • Proven experience in full-stack IoT development (hardware, firmware, cloud).
  • Strong knowledge of microcontrollers (ESP32, STM32), sensors, and protocols (MQTT, HTTP, TCP/IP).
  • Proficient in C/C++ and/or Python for embedded systems.
  • Hands-on experience with IoT cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT).
  • Familiarity with security standards (TLS, certificates, authentication).
  • Agile development experience (Scrum, Kanban).

Nice to Have

  • Experience in IoT environments.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (Grafana, InfluxDB, Prometheus).
  • Background in electro-mechanical products.
  • Knowledge of Linux, Docker, and scripting languages.
