Job summary

KONE is seeking a proactive Installation Engineer to lead on-site installation activities, ensure safety, quality, and productivity, and maintain strong customer relationships. The role emphasizes adherence to installation methods and driving improvements in execution.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical or electrical engineering background and PM experience with subcontractors, plus strong CRM/MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or electrical eng. degree required.
• Experience in elevator/escalator industry mandatory.
• PM experience min 2 years, incl. subcontractors.
• Proficient with CRM tools, MS Office and PM software.
• Strong stakeholder management and team leadership.
• PMP qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take accountability for safety, quality, and productivity during installation and handovers.
• Plan, organize, and manage installation activities, logistics, materials, and site resources.
• Monitor progress, costs, schedules, and risks, aligned with project plans (S-plan milestones).
• Lead final testing, ensure closure of defects, and deliver a handover to maintenance.
• Manage installation documentation, reporting, time approvals, and environmental compliance.
• Act as the on-site contact for customers, ensuring clear communication.
