Job summary

Elomatic Oy is seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to guide electrical, instrumentation, and automation projects across all lifecycle stages. You will define technical specifications, perform sizing and calculations, and manage cost estimates for industrial power distribution and process electrical systems.

You’ll collaborate with clients and suppliers, potentially handling concept engineering, procurement support, site supervision, and commissioning.

Qualifications

Relevant technical education (bachelor or master’s) in electrical engineering.
Experience in electrical engineering and preferably in consulting.
Familiarity with medium/low voltage systems; high voltage is a plus but not required.
Experience across different processes (industry, energy & power, chemical, food).
Proficient with database-based design tools.
Strong communication skills in Finnish and English; proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical engineering across all project phases from pre-engineering to implementation.
Develop technical specs, sizing/calculations, and cost estimation for industrial power distribution and process electrical systems.
Evaluate alternative solutions and assess risks to meet client objectives and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and other disciplines; may include concept design, procurement support, site supervision, and commissioning.
