Job summary

Davie Shipyards in Finland is seeking its first Contract Manager to join the legal team in Helsinki, working at the interface of Projects, Procurement, Legal and Business teams on complex international shipbuilding projects.

You will identify and manage contract risks, lead change orders and negotiations, ensure compliance, and help build contract management practices as part of a growing, internationally connected organization. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in contract management, commercial management or project environments.
• Experience with complex commercial contracts and risk management.
• Customer-centric, practical, commercially minded.
• Excellent English and Finnish language skills.
• Experience in shipbuilding or EPC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage contractual and commercial risks.
• Serve as first point of contact with customers.
• Support contract interpretation and implementation.
• Manage change orders and contractual notices.
• Participate in contract negotiations and commercial discussions.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations during project execution.
• Develop contract management processes and best practices.
• Promote contractual awareness across the organisation.
