Job summary

Uudenmaan Ohutlevy Oy is seeking a skilled operator for laser cutting and combi machine tasks in a sheet metal fabrication department. The role involves reading technical drawings and operating Bystronic fiber laser and Prima Power combi laser/press automation.

The position is permanent with a 37.5-hour workweek, partly two-shift, including an evening shift (14:00–22:00) every four weeks. A fixed monthly salary plus allowances is offered, along with health care and insurance benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in laser cutting or punching/press centers.
• Ability to read technical drawings.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled laser cutting and combi machine operator for a permanent position in the sheet metal fabrication department.

The team runs four machines: Bystronic fiber laser and Prima Power combined laser/press automation.

The role involves reading technical drawings and operating laser cutting and combi machines.

Job type: permanent position in the sheet metal fabrication department.

Work schedule: 37.5 hours per week with time accounting. The work is partly two-shift, with the evening shift (14:00–22:00) staffed by one operator and occurring once every four weeks.

We expect experience in laser cutting and/or punch/press centers and the ability to read technical drawings.

Desirable: experience with combi machines, preferably Prima Power; relevant vocational training.
