Job description

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist for our client for a long-term position in Virrat, Finland.

In this role, you will work with a wide range of technically demanding machining tasks. The position requires particular attention to precision, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Job Responsibilities

• Operating CNC machines and setting up machines for production
• Machining components according to technical drawings and work instructions
• Using CNC programs and making adjustments when necessary
• Selecting and changing tools and making machine adjustments
• Measuring components and carrying out quality control
• Monitoring and optimizing machining processes
• Maintaining machines and keeping the work environment in good condition
• Cooperating with other production personnel and supervisors

What We Expect from You

• Previous experience in CNC machining
• Experience in milling and/or turning
• Good ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Good knowledge of measuring tools and measurement techniques
• Familiarity with CNC controls and programming
• Precise and careful approach to work
• Ability to work independently
• Initiative and a responsible attitude
• Willingness to develop your professional skills

Experience in demanding machining operations, multi-axis CNC machines, or CAD/CAM programming will be considered an advantage. Strong machining skills and a willingness to learn and develop are also highly valued.
