Job summary

Attendo central kitchen in Kuopio is seeking a part-time Kitchen Assistant/food runner to support daily meal service for residents. You will perform dishwashing, packaging, cleaning, and kitchen laundry while delivering meals with the kitchen's own manual transmission vehicle.

The role emphasizes hygiene, quality control notes, and vehicle maintenance. Qualifications include a hygiene card, fluent Finnish (minimum B1), a category B driving license, and vaccination protection under Infectious

Job description

Kitchen assistant/food runner position at Attendo central kitchen in Kuopio.

The kitchen is located near good transport links, close to Kuopio city center.

Attendo aims to be a home for the elderly, disabled, and recovery patients, focusing on care quality and resident happiness.

You will help ensure residents receive daily high-quality, tasty home-cooked meals.

Responsibilities include:

• dishwashing
• waste management
• making notes for quality control and responding to deviations
• delivering meals with the kitchen's own manual transmission vehicle
• maintaining the meal delivery vehicle (fueling, cleanliness, and roadworthiness)
• packaging
• cleaning tasks in the kitchen
• kitchen laundry

The position is part-time, 25 hours per week, permanent, primarily weekdays between 7:00 and 18:00.

Start date as early as week 39 or as agreed.

Requirements include:

• a category B driving license

We follow the Private Social Services Act collective agreement; pay level is G15A.
