Job summary

Attendo Loviisanhovi in Loviisa is seeking a care assistant to support residents in a 24/7 home for the elderly. The role covers meal service, cleanliness, laundry, and supportive care tasks, with on-call shifts and a three-month contract to start.

Qualifications

• No formal qualification required but experience is valued.
• Vaccination protection per Infectious Diseases Act 48§ for entire employment.
• Hygieniapassi or willingness to obtain within three months.
• Fluent Finnish.
• Criminal background check for longer-than-three-month employment when working with minors/elderly/disabled.

Responsibilities

• Heat meals per instructions and plate foods in serving line and group homes.
• Receive/unload supply loads and keep the kitchen clean.
• Handle laundry and interact with residents to provide supportive care.
• Assist with meal service and maintain overall cleanliness and safety.

Job description

Care assistant role at Attendo Loviisanhovi provides daily support to residents in a 24/7 home for the elderly.

Responsibilities include heating meals per instructions, plating foods in the serving line and in group homes, performing food safety measurements, receiving and unloading supply loads, keeping the kitchen clean, laundry, and interacting with residents.

The position covers meal service, cleanliness, laundry, and supportive care tasks. It is hourly with on-call shifts, initially a three-month contract with potential extension based on mutual experience. Shifts are morning and evening. We can agree on a start date. Instagram: @attendoloviisanhovi.
