Agnico Eagle Finland Oy at the Kittilä mine is seeking a Junior Mining Geologist for a fixed-term position through late 2027. The role focuses on planning drillings, logging drill holes, modeling ore bodies, and coordinating daily production-related activities with stakeholders.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in geology, preferably with mining experience, strong teamwork and organizational skills, and fluency in Finnish and English.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in geology, preferably with mining experience.
• Fluent in Finnish and English.
• Experience with geological modeling software (Surpac, Deswik, Leapfrog) and MS Office.
• Ability to work in a team and to make independent decisions.

Responsibilities

• Plan drillings and log drill holes at the Kittilä mine.
• Model ore bodies, perform calculations and reconciliations.
• Manage geological data and coordinate daily production-related activities with stakeholders.
