Job summary

Bluefors seeks Junior Mechanical Design Engineers to join the Configuration Engineering and Layout Engineering teams. You will work on mechanical design for cryogen-free dilution refrigerator systems, primarily using PTC Creo, producing drawings and documentation, and maintaining CAD data in PDM/ERP systems.

You will collaborate across engineering, product, and manufacturing teams. In Layout Engineering you’ll create and maintain system layouts and 3D models, update assemblies, and support

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience with PTC Creo gained through studies, internships, thesis work, projects, or previous employment.
• Excellent learning skills and willingness to develop professionally.
• Systematic, careful, and committed to high-quality work.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain mechanical designs using PTC Creo.
• Produce technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Update designs and drawings based on engineering changes.
• Maintain CAD data and documentation in PDM and ERP systems.
• Support the development of CAD data management, documentation, and engineering processes.
• Collaborate closely with other engineering, product, and manufacturing teams.
• Create and maintain system layouts and 3D models.
• Develop and update layouts and assemblies.
• Support the development and standardization of layout designs.
