Job summary

Kvarn X is hiring a Junior AML Analyst in Helsinki, Finland (hybrid/remote). You will join AML Operations to handle day-to-day compliance and AML tasks in a cutting-edge fintech. You will conduct KYC/CDD reviews, monitor transactions, review alerts, and support regulatory compliance with FIN-FSA.

Finnish language proficiency is required alongside strong English communication. This role offers growth in a fast-paced scale-up, with opportunities to learn crypto-assets and traditional finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Law, or related field.
• 0–2 years in AML/KYC or compliance roles.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, self-starter mindset.
• Excellent English; Finnish proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• KYC/CDD reviews for clients.
• Monitor fiat and crypto-asset transactions for unusual activity.
• Review alerts and escalate AML/CTF risks to senior team.
• Support the 1LoD regulatory compliance and internal controls.
• Manage compliance documentation and risk assessments.
• Stay updated on crypto, finance, and regulatory changes.
