Job description

Howspace is a SaaS platform for collaborative learning & development, and we are looking for an IT Operations Lead to manage our business software solutions and develop our information security management globally. This is a hands-on role with ownership of our internal IT operations. You’ll be the go-to person for all things IT - working closely with our people, operations, and product teams, as there’s no existing IT team - and you'll have the opportunity to shape the function and grow with the company as we scale.

What will this role have ownership of?

• Managing & developing overall business IT infrastructure and culture
• Manage Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and other SaaS applications, including monitoring and optimization of the usage
• Oversee security best practices (MFA, access controls, endpoint security)
• Grow to manage and develop the information security management system (ISO27001:2022)
• Support the customer-facing teams in security related topics
• Work with vendors for hardware, software, and SaaS tools procurement
• Provide IT support for employees and handle employee onboarding & offboarding

What does the role require from you?

• Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365 environments
• Systematic approach to managing the business IT environment
• Experience in implementing best practices for a growth-company in Saas industry
• Interest in developing or managing information security & compliance (familiarity with ISO 27001 is seen as a benefit)
• Self-starter with capability of both detailed execution and stepping back to see the broader context, in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to effectively provide end-user IT support
• Cloud infrastructure knowledge is seen as a plus (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Typically requires 5+ years of experience in IT Operations in scale-up organization within the Saas industry
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
