Job summary

Astreya is seeking an experienced Data Center Operations Engineer to support break-fix maintenance of servers, networking, and storage infrastructure. You will install, configure, and test hardware and software to meet business needs.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive inspections, 24x7 monitoring, and leading projects such as migrations and expansions. SOPs/MOPs adherence and asset management are essential.

Job description

Perform break-fix maintenance on servers, networking, and storage infrastructure.

Install, configure, and test hardware/software to support ongoing business needs.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, network, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.

Conduct preventive inspections to reduce downtime and operational risks.

Monitor infrastructure 24x7 and respond promptly to alerts and incidents.

Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with business and compliance requirements.

Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Methods of Procedures (MOPs).

Maintain accurate asset and inventory records to support audits and capacity planning.

Monitor and analyze data center performance metrics, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Support and lead small-to-large scale projects, including migrations and expansions.
